This is my first blog so i will keep it simple. I forget how uncomfortable middle of July gets in NYC. For the last 5 years, I was pretty spoiled by the weather in southern california. The humidity and the mosquitos are a fact of life here that i will need to get used to again. The freezing January and February seems a distant memory with the constant sweating and scratching.
Being back in New York City, I appreciate the four seasons more. I really enjoy the smell after a nice downpour. There are so many things that is different from each coast that it is very hard for me to not compare the two side by side. There are great things and not so great things on the left and the right. Sort of like politics but i do tend to lean more to the left when it comes to politics.
About the author
Im an artist residing in New York City. Born in Seoul, Korea, I came here to the states at the age of 7 with my family. Raised in Queens, attended high school in Brooklyn and graduating from Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan, Im pretty much a product of all the bouroughs of the big apple. Staten island and bronx still gets love from me even though I usually just drive through =) I have also lived in Los Angeles for 5 years and just recently moved back to New York City. I am grateful for the fact that I experienced life on both sides of the coast and fully appreciate what each side offers.
